Active military, first responders get free admission to aquarium

Published: June 14, 2017 12:00 AM

Looking for something to do on the Fourth of July before the backyard barbecue? The Greater Cleveland Aquarium is open with free parking until 4 p.m. on July 4. The aquarium is open until 5 p.m. and the last tickets will be sold at 4 p.m.

"We will also have starfish kids' craft and a red-white-and-blue scavenger hunt," says Aquarium GM Tami Brown. "And of course we always have an array of colorful creatures vibrant enough to match those fireworks lighting up the night sky later on."

There will also be free entry for active military and first responders (police, fire and EMT) with the presentation of appropriate ID.

Accompanying family members will be eligible for discounted admission of $17.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 2-12. Regular admission rates apply for all other guests.

The discount is only available in-person and cannot be combined with other offers. For details or questions, call 216.862.8803 or visit greaterclevelandaquarium.com.
